Monty – Entry XI

“She and I might have been born siblings in this life, but as far as ‘first life’ relations go, that isn’t the case. She’s nothing to me,” the demon declared, stepping back toward their original meeting place. Monty ambled along with Leah between them. “You’re her guardian now, so don’t fuck things up. Give her everything she needs and don’t fight it when she eventually leaves.”

In her shifting, he noticed a large black spot through the rips in her top, an uneven splattering against her side.

His expression hardened at the sight. Damn humans… Who the hell would hurt a little kid?

The Earthbound Court of Zeroua

With more difficulty came the alliance between the emotive Cythereans and the apathetic Neptunians; even after, tensions did not lessen until Princesse Cytherea announced her courtship to Chief Fintan of Havet. The ceremony of soulmates, however, was interrupted by the battle between their childhood friends, the Priestess Arta and Chief Kisecawchuck.
