Sisters of the Shadows

Eldest son of the honorary leader of their northern California colony. He was raised by loving parents and cared for his siblings and their people. The neighboring human tribe, the Miwok, shared food and supplies with them, so Albert and his father met with Chief Moon and his daughter, Scarlett, very often. Both were expected to rise up and lead their respective people–and they were told to embrace their partnership. In time, the adventurous children became determined teenagers. Their budding romance was the talk of the colony, and it was not long before their fathers insisted on their engagement.

It was not until he was fifteen when the unfortunate night of the massacre occurred. Albert’s family was killed during an attack on his colony by a group that consisted of both bandits and spirits. The attackers kidnapped Scarlett, prompting Albert to head on after them alone. He tracked them as they traveled south through the desert, but when he caught up with the group he was ambushed by young people with strange abilities. The last thing he heard was the ear-piercing scream of a powerful enemy, causing him to lose consciousness.

When he awoke, he was found by then prince Liam, Jeremy, and Mike Flynn, one of their courtsmen. They unlocked his true potential, called a strange man with golden eyes to heal him, and recruited him for their cause. It was not long before Albert rose through the ranks and, as Liam’s protegé, became the royal advisor to the prince of the court of Ninurta.
