Owen McMahon was the second oldest of four children. His father, Trenton, trained him in every weapon and combat form he could imagine, molding him into the ultimate protector for their colony. Benton Crossing is hidden away in a valley, so few bandits try to raid this stronghold.
Justin’s a good kid with good intentions. His ability makes him a valuable asset to the court, but he’s also learned that he is susceptible to psychic attacks–per his psychic training with Jerr, of course. He, Zach, and Alex spend most of their free time practicing their parkour skills and visiting Adara’s group in the Henderson colony
This is important for you to remember in this series: everything happens for a reason. Every interaction, every word shared, every dream–everything in TCoLD happens for a reason, and that includes Ethan’s relationship with Adara.
Alex is the typical bad boy you liked in high school. He might have been held back one or two grades. His electives were autoshop and Spanish, and he goofs off in the latter class. He rides a skateboard to school and parkours around the lunch courtyard.
Bruno is the quintessential teenager of the Cronian leadership. He and Gio are the same age, but Gio’s far more mature. That’s not to say that Bruno is immature, he’s just… The right amount of mature?
Spirits like Zach and Harry–with superhuman traits–are weak against psychic attacks and tend to do poorly in psychic training. Spirits who are physically advanced tend to be easy targets for telepaths.
Josh and Zach were on a supply run with their Uncle Jensen when they bumped into the Ninurta Court, led at the time by Owen McMahon. Owen recruited the boys, assuring their uncle that they would be safe under his care. The boys visit their uncle every few months, and now that the court has settled onto permanent territory, Uncle Jensen visits them very often.
James is definitely the type to hold a grudge. He’s very protective of his family, both in St. George and in Enterprise. He’s smart and charismatic, but has a tendency to be selfish, stubborn, and even childish.
Mike continues making armor for his colleagues, and even making extra to trade to colonists for essential supplies. This had made him the court’s leading negotiator, both in bartering goods and in dire straits. His improvisation skills are top tier, as he can adapt to almost any situation.
Even though he was a late addition to the cause, Trent was not influenced to bully Jeremy by James. He simply saw the psychic as too different from him to vibe with, and kept his distance based on that. Also, whether he realized it or not, Jerr had added to his own isolation by giving off an aura that made the younger courtsmen believe that he despised them; in reality, Jeremy and Trent are very similar, and would probably learn a lot from one another, as well as grow together as friends.
