He's often underestimated as a weakling or not much of a threat as the result of his height, when in reality he's one of the deadliest members of the entire tribe. Perish is skilled in various martial arts and lethal fighting styles. He comes off as impulsive and reckless, when he's actually very calculating.
A heart to heart between sisters
He's a sweetheart, considerate, picks up signals easily, and communicates his points efficiently. His ability makes him an excellent lookout and marksman, and it also means he can't be pranked by Chase or the kids from Wave Three.
Hate's soul mate bond with Love humbled him greatly; she got him to let the walls he built around him fall to grant her access, and the two became close fast. He's crazy about her, and very protective, so he and Fear have given her extra training outside of Cross' sessions. Fear has also provided his new sister-in-law with a few hunting knives and two pistols, all painted rose gold to suit her aesthetic.
Love is beautiful and graceful, but intimidates others with her intellect. She's not an airhead, nor does she lack common sense; home girl is literally the whole package. Brains, beauty, and even brawn--she picks up Cross' training exercises quickly, even going as far as to give pointers to Sparkle. The two of them are best friends, always have been, and Sparkle is the only female member of the tribe who speaks to her.
Though he hates to admit it, Virgil is a bit of a techie. He enjoys researching the latest tech almost as much as he does buying and using it.

The junior also had a more defined jawline compared to the senior, and I wondered how I ever even came close to thinking that they looked identical. But if Max pushes me away like that, then he’s no better that Lalo.
She found her gaze wandering over to the prince. He looked uncharacteristically serious as he discussed his plans to liberate bandit children, his eyes dark and determined. His face was more defined than she remembered, and the distance between his shoulders could easily fit two of her. His aura was shifting, floating around him as if it had a mind of its own.
Dream relies on common sense and facts, while Love is driven by her emotions. Her code name was actually given to her by Imprint, who accidentally wandered into her dreams using his ability. He realized that she was more of a visionary than she let show, and urged her to make her dreams a reality. No one knows what Imprint saw in Dream's mind except for Shade.
Cross spent most of his childhood stealing supplies from the colonies they passed through, as his father was often too drunk to hunt. He always seemed to forget to barter for clothes for his growing child, which was yet another reason for the youth to become a thief. As he got older, he began stealing less for necessity and more out of greed, taking weapons and supplies from unsuspecting colonists.
