Three facts about Bruno:
- Bruno can be a bit spacey, but he means well. He still hasn’t put together that Gio knows about Chick.
- He and the other teen members are participants in an all-out prank war. No one is safe.
- His family resides in the Mojave colony nearly eighty miles south of the court’s territory. His father taught him and his sisters to box.
My thoughts on Bruno:
Bruno is the quintessential teenager of the Cronian leadership. He and Gio are the same age, but Gio’s far more mature. That’s not to say that Bruno is immature, he’s just… The right amount of mature?
Bruno was born in Mexico before his parents crossed the border and settled in the Mojave colony. He has one older and three younger sisters, all of which know how to box thanks to their father. The Reyes family helps protect their colony, and they escort traders to and from the Las Vegas colonies.
He’s a bisexual dreamboat who’s unapologetically charming. He flirts harmlessly and teases in good fun, but unlike the other young members of the court (and Ethan), Bruno hasn’t found a girl to call his mate. Perhaps a mate is waiting for him elsewhere…
He helps train Chick the coyote, teaching him commands in Spanish and requesting extra meat to feed the pup. We’re gonna meet Chick and see hijinks ensue between Bruno, Hunter, and Alex, so keep an eye out for that!
For those of you who don’t know, Bruno is a supporting character in my trilogy Saturn Rising, which is the first installment of The Chronicles of Life & Death. The first book, Aquarius, is available now on Amazon as an e-book and paperback. You can even read it all for free with Kindle Unlimited! Learn more here.
