Three facts about Ethan:
- Ethan was born to a family of nomads. They moved from one colony to the next, trading goods as they went.
- His specialty is to send bandit vehicles high into the air before letting them crash onto the ground. He loathes bandits.
- He’s been seeing Adara since she and her group joined the Henderson colony. The two are considering moving in together.
My thoughts on Ethan:
This is important for you to remember in this series: everything happens for a reason. Every interaction, every word shared, every dream–everything in TCoLD happens for a reason, and that includes Ethan’s relationship with Adara.
If Liam is the historian and Owen is the weapons and combat expert, then Ethan is the strategist. He’s the only one in the entire court who can beat Liam at chess. He isn’t very bookish, preferring to learn by hand instead of reading an instruction manual. It doesn’t take him very long to connect the dots and see the big picture, even if it isn’t that obvious to others.
Adara’s arrival to the Las Vegas colonies has brightened Ethan’s monotonous world. Everything was the same old boring routine; wake up, train, stop some bandits, recruit an angel, repeat. With his soul mate found in a human, Ethan has rediscovered his passion and purpose. He’s dedicated to keeping the colonies safe, and he might have some ideas for that–ideas he’ll share with Gio in Taurus.
Just a head’s up: Taurus takes place immediately after Aquarius, but Pisces–the third and final installment of Saturn Rising–may take place a month or two after the events of Taurus.
For those of you who don’t know, Ethan is a supporting character in my trilogy Saturn Rising, which is the first installment of The Chronicles of Life & Death. The first book, Aquarius, is available now on Amazon as an e-book and paperback. You can even read it all for free with Kindle Unlimited! Learn more here.
