He's a sweetheart, considerate, picks up signals easily, and communicates his points efficiently. His ability makes him an excellent lookout and marksman, and it also means he can't be pranked by Chase or the kids from Wave Three.
However, of all the psychics in this series, I think Imprint has got to be the most bad ass. Others will have their moments of bad-assery, but he seriously takes the cake. He works out on a regular basis, keeps a strict diet, and has actually beaten most of his teammates in combat--Bash and Dash included.
Love is beautiful and graceful, but intimidates others with her intellect. She's not an airhead, nor does she lack common sense; home girl is literally the whole package. Brains, beauty, and even brawn--she picks up Cross' training exercises quickly, even going as far as to give pointers to Sparkle. The two of them are best friends, always have been, and Sparkle is the only female member of the tribe who speaks to her.
She certainly plays a key role in the Poseidean drama; she gets a first-hand look at how being pitted between Punish and Rush weighs on Cross.
Merge is young at heart, as seen by his choice in friendships. He practically taught Chase how to be the ultimate prankster, even though the Wave Two porter is rather tame about his playful nature.
Envy is almost the exact opposite of my token psychic, with the exceptions being that she is kind and always willing to help others. Envy keeps active by training with Gag at the gym on the reservation, going on morning runs, and teaching yoga. She's always available to help Whisper come up with fun ideas for their next gathering, and she's one of the firsts to volunteer for anything.
Originally, these twins were created to be part of a tragic and heart-breaking battle, pitted against one another by the chief that was and the chief that could have been. As I work on their characters, molding them and this story around them, I find there's no way to avoid a sad story or an unhappy ending. Not everyone in TCoLD gets what they want or need, and not every villain will receive their just desserts.
Freeze doesn't feel an attachment to anyone except his tribe and his dog, Doloris. He protects the Northern Piikáni with pride and vigilance, and will even travel to the Southern Piikáni to lend aid. He has a fear of heights and spiders, and enjoys watching anime.
Dash was looking out for Bash even before either of them discovered their abilities. Their mother was unable to care for them for most of their childhood due to chronic illness, so Dash did her best to fill in while their father looked after their mom.
It may be time to call it quits...
