I really hope no one hates Love… I’m sure people will find a reason too, just as they will with Marilyn. They’re both super sweet, though, and care about their friends, so I hope readers give them a chance!

Three facts about Love:
- Love and Dream look alike, but Love is the more outgoing of the two. They’re fairly close in spite of their differences.
- She was the only member who advised Dream not to date Rush, putting her at odds with Risk. Love recognized his red flags before anyone else.
- Love assures everyone that Hate is not the same person in private, but her words are lost on them. Only Sparkle remains as her closest friend.
My thoughts on Love:
I’m not sure that I should really go too deep into Love… If I do, I may reveal too much about Marilyn’s role in future books, and revealing Marilyn’s role (while minor) may spoil something about the series… So I apologize if this is shorter than you would like:
Love is beautiful and graceful, but intimidates others with her intellect. She’s not an airhead, nor does she lack common sense; home girl is literally the whole package. Brains, beauty, and even brawn–she picks up Cross’ training exercises quickly, even going as far as to give pointers to Sparkle. The two of them are best friends, always have been, and Sparkle is the only female member of the tribe who speaks to her.
Her bond with Hate occurred around a pivotal point in the tribe’s history; Scorch was found dead, his human mate went missing, and Rush was in no shape to lead them while blaming his brother’s death on Punish without any evidence. A schism was forming between the Wave Three Niitsitapi and their Caucasian members. Risk had just started to date Punish before that, and (unbeknownst to the rest of the tribe) Thunder and Vanish had bonded–so when Love and Hate were recognized as soul mates, the rift between the two races dissolved. Rush was removed from his position, and Punish was named chief in order to assuage any racial tension.
Hate’s birthday bio will go up tomorrow, so I don’t want to reveal too much. All I’ll say is, he’s not as bad as his name makes him out to be, and he treats Love well. She brings out a side of him that no one has seen yet, though they may get that chance in Pisces.
