Three facts about Wesley:
- Wesley was found two years before Jeremy–only a few months after Owen was recruited. As the one who saved him, Wes looks up to the former prince.
- The Craft family was nomadic, so Wesley learned to defend himself at a young age. He spent his free time sparring with his three older brothers.
- He’s irritatingly good at anything he tries. Videogames, cooking, sports, you name it. James and Mike are actively trying to find something Wes isn’t good at.
My thoughts on Wes:
No matter how hard I try, I can’t imagine Wesley being bad at anything. He seems like the kind of person who listens carefully to instructions and takes, “do it right the first time,” to heart. He’s undefeated in combat practice, and has only lost in weapons combat to Owen. He took to Jeremy’s mental exercises easily, and was the first to successfully call out to the psychic. I suppose if there’s one thing he’s bad at, it’s saying no to others.
(For some reason, Wesley’s backstory disappeared… I’m going to rewrite it when I get the chance. I didn’t have it saved elsewhere, so it’ll most likely be different from what it was before…)
For those of you who don’t know, Wes is a supporting character in my trilogy Saturn Rising, which is the first installment of The Chronicles of Life & Death. The first book, Aquarius, is available now on Amazon as an e-book and paperback. You can even read it all for free with Kindle Unlimited! Learn more here.
