Today we’re going to talk about one of my favorite Cythereans: Noah Callahan, healer to the Zeroua Court and Havet Tribe!

Three facts about Noah:
- Noah is a founding member of the Zeroua Court, along with Alice, Gin, and Aria. They’re families are all from the same colony in Jackson, Wyoming.
- His ability only works if he can remain calm and focus on his task; panicking only makes things worse. He nearly lost Isaac as a result of his emotions.
- It was Noah’s idea for Alice to hold weekly meetings with the entire court. It’s a way to keep tabs on everyone’s mental and emotional health.
My thoughts on Noah:
Noah’s the sassy friend I need in my life, but I’m too much of an introvert to go out and meet people, so I’m trying to manifest one into existence with Noah. I have so much fun writing the interactions between Cythereans because they’re so different from the Cronians. The Ninurta Court has been around for decades, and is mostly heterosexual cisgender men; the Zeroua Court is newer and far more diverse, and with that diversity comes hilarious personalities. The oldest member of the court is Aria at twenty-seven, and the youngest is Julian at eighteen. If you’re imagining a co-ed college dorm, you’d be pretty close.
Noah’s a black gay man in a group where the leadership is primarily women. His younger brother admires his ability to keep a level head while dealing with all the craziness, and the healer has really blossomed since Scarlett was found. The two of them are best friends, sharing just about everything. They even shared a home before more members were recruited and living arrangements had to be rearranged.
I’m most excited to see the Cythereans interact with the Cronians, as it’ll be quite a contrast from what either side is accustomed to. Noah is going to spend a lot of time with the Cronians in Pisces, for reasons that will be revealed in Taurus, and he’ll have an exceptional influence on one young man in particular. 😉
