Three facts about Frankie:
- Since he’s closer to Sal in age than he is Tony, he and his older brother are best friends. This has made Tony feel left out.
- Frankie met Carmen while he was still prince. He waited until Monty took over to ask her out.
- He’s suspected for a while now that Tony and Vince were in a relationship. He thinks it’s a silly thing to keep a secret, but does so anyway.
My thoughts on Frankie:
Frankie is the quintessential big brother figure–even if he wasn’t that great of a brother to Tony. He’s protective, gives great advice, and pays attention to everything. That’s how he came to the conclusion that Tony and Vince were in a relationship. He’s considered coming forward to the royal advisor with his suspicions, but he finds Tony’s panicked reactions too funny to pass up. He’s vowed not to let the psychological torture go on for too long, though–he’ll tell Tony. Eventually.
The former prince is honest, caring, and deliberate in everything he does. He’s taking things slow with Carmen, and he can’t wait to be an uncle. Technically, he already is an uncle in Saturn Rising–we just don’t see any of it because the focus is on the Cronians. But the Jovians will have their time to shine in the trilogy that follows.
For those of you who don’t know, Frankie is a supporting character in The Chronicles of Life & Death. The first book, Aquarius, is available now on Amazon as an e-book and paperback. You can even read it all for free with Kindle Unlimited! Learn more here.
