Happy Birthday Alexa!

Alexa is a full-blown witch. She’s a practicing Wiccan, vegan, and cat mom. More often than not she’s doing what she can to foil Chris’ pranks–it’s her way of pranking him.

Time for one of the first psychics I ever created! Alexandria Montgomery.

Basic Info:

Age in Lizzie’s Diary: 21
Height: 5’4 | Weight: 120 lbs.
Hair: chocolate brown, shoulder-length, straight | Eyes: hazel brown
Human Race: Italian-American | Species: Angel
Hailing Planet: Iuppiter
Ability: telepathy, psychography
Rank: Psychic
Specialties: long-distance range, medium, intuition, sharpshooter
Best friend: Christopher Montgomery, Cienna Hall, Natalie Hall, Cassidy Montgomery
Mentor: Desideria Alagona
Soul mate: Christopher Montgomery

Three facts about Alexa:

  1. She charts her star signs and deciphers her horoscope from the constellations and tarot readings. She’s Savannah’s resident fortuneteller.
  2. Chris brings home more strays than Alexa knows what to do with. They are Valora, Sparky, Cookie, Cisco, Bael, Noodles, and Saffron.
  3. She’s a full-time psychic and a part-time witch. She dances under the full moon and speaks spells as prayers.

My thoughts on Alexa:

Remember earlier this week when I talked about the kinds of friends I had in high school? Alexa is based off of a goth friend I had. She was actually one of the first friends I made at that school, so there’s a special place in my heart for this character.

Alexa is a full-blown witch. She’s a practicing Wiccan, vegan, and cat mom. More often than not she’s doing what she can to foil Chris’ pranks–it’s her way of pranking him. She collects tarot decks and crystals, and uses a cauldron to brew “potions” for morning spells (tea).

So the Hall family is a little difficult to navigate without a graphic, so… You’re welcome.

Here’s an explanation of the Hall family tree:

There were two separate families with the surname Hall; Fraser, Ainslie, and Arabella Hall, who lived in Savannah all their lives, and Remiel, Salim, and Talisha Hall, who joined the colony sometime later. Salim’s wife, Moesha, came with them, and the two of them had Cienna, Natalie, and Gordon Hall. Talisha met Fraser and fell in love, forming one bridge between the two Hall families. Ainslie’s husband, Reilly, passed away following the births of Tawny and Benji–he had taken her surname after their marriage. And Arabella married her high school sweetheart Mario Esposito, took his surname, and gave birth to Alexandria Esposito, who would eventually marry Christopher Montgomery and take his surname–which, in turn, created the first bridge between the Halls and the Montgomeries. A second bridge was formed when Cassidy Montgomery and Gordon Hall became bonded.

So, Alexa is the first cousin of Tawni and Benji, who are the distant cousins of Cienna, Natalie, and Gordon by marriage. I’ve been trying to put together a large, comprehensive chart of how everyone in TCoLD is related to other characters, but it’s been difficult to find a suitable template. I suppose I can make one from scratch…

For those of you who don’t know, Alexa is a supporting character in The Chronicles of Life & Death. The first book, Aquarius, is available now on Amazon as an e-book and paperback. You can even read it all for free with Kindle Unlimited! Learn more here.
