Let’s discuss Monty’s former best friend Connor Montgomery, Carter’s eldest child and Cassidy and Cooper’s older brother.

Three facts about Connor:

Connor holds a grudge against Monty for being passed over for leadership. He’s the only male Montgomery to not sit as advisor or prince.
While all three of Carter Montgomery’s kids have the power of hallucikinesis, Connor is the only one who can fool a person’s senses. He and his sisters are made to practice on one another a lot.
He’s only a little jealous that most everyone else his age is finding their soul mate. He patrols the streets of Savannah in hopes of finding one, but to no avail.

My thoughts on Connor:

Connor has honestly been given the short end of the stick. His father places all his hopes on him, his only son and firstborn, to be the strongest and to lead–only for Desideria Alagona to suggest that first Monty supersede him as royal advisor, and then Tony. His cousin, both of his remaining best friends, and both of his sisters have found their soul mates either in other angels within the court or humans in the colony they protect. His former best friend, Monty, seems more concerned with appeasing the Semes Tribe and maintaining a link with his human-turned-demon girlfriend, than he does with protecting the colony and furthering their mission. And to top it all off, his mother has gotten sick and the human healer, Kris, is nowhere to be seen…

Connor is an even-tempered young man who’s down on his luck, and a vital character in the series that follows Saturn Rising. His actions will determine the outcome of their mission–and the fate of a mysterious rogue spirit.
