Tony was one of the first characters I ever created for this series–in fact, he was the first Jovian ever conceptualized. There’s a special place in my heart for this cinnamon roll–then again, most people might see him as a rude, petulant teenager… And that’s okay. Character growth exists for a reason, and Antonio Alagona has a lot of growth ahead of him.

Three facts about Tony:
- While very gifted, Tony cannot control his abilities very well. His negative emotions get in the way.
- He’s not as good at combat as say Natalie or Sam, but he’s learned how to shoot electric currents at his targets. This requires precision, though, which he’s working on.
- He’s been dating Vince, the court’s newest recruit, in secret. Only Monty knows.
My thoughts on Tony:
AAAAAAAHHHHHH THERE’S SO MUCH I WANT TO TALK ABOUT BUT CAAAAN’T
Okay, so… Tony is important. But he’s also kind of a fuck up. He and Vince are dating in secret because Tony thinks his father, Lorenzo Alagona, eldest elder on the council, won’t approve. Monty only knows because he and Tony are very close and they share everything. Also, things got tense between them after the huge scene with Lizzie/Karia (a scene you’ve yet to see, but will very soon). At the end of Saturn Rising we’ll get an update on the Jovians–an update that will lead us into the next trilogy where the Jovians are at the center.
Tony’s smart–smart enough to know how to keep enemies at bay or herd them into specific locations. He’s learned how to focus his electrokinesis in the palm of his hand and stun those who get too close. However, as we see in the beginning of Aquarius, Tony is unable to control his tempestakinesis. On the bright side, he can tell you when it’s going to rain.
Like his older brothers, Tony experiences a lot of pressure from Lorenzo to be the best leader and protector of Savannah. But Tony is having a difficult time coming to terms with the fact that the council may not have the mission in mind.
For those of you who don’t know, Tony is a supporting character in The Chronicles of Life & Death. The first book, Aquarius, is available now on Amazon as an e-book and paperback. You can even read it all for free with Kindle Unlimited! Learn more here.
