Random Facts:

1. Scout is on both the baseball and basketball teams at AOA. She’s a point forward for the Magic Striders and relief pitcher for the Heavenly Devils.

2. The Covarrubias family are Mexican-American; Roberto Covarrubias, Scout’s father, owns and runs a restaurant chain in south Arizona that boast authentic Mexican cuisine. Penélope, Berto’s wife and Scout’s mother, runs their Tucson location, while Berto travels across the state and helps manage their other locations. Scout’s older brother, César, works part-time at the Tucson restaurant–when he isn’t attending university.

3. While he usually claims to be a tomboy, Scout does own a small yet near-and-dear collection of Dabbit Dolls.

4. Even though both baseball and basketball each have their own places in her heart, Scout dreams of being a successful business owner. She wants to be able to help her parents retire comfortably.

5. As well as being a member of the Animal Rescue Club, Scout is also a member of the Environmental Club.
