Random Facts:

1. Like all reapers, Taeyang has no memories of his human life. Reapers remain frozen at the age they were when they passed away, and then undergo a century of vigorous training. They spend their final years in an educational institution, such as the Academy.

2. Because he spent the better part of the last century training to become a psychopomp, he finds Omoyeni’s laid-back approach to the position as an insult. He’s challenged them on several occasions, only for the elder reaper-in-training to put him in his place.

3. He may or may not be an otaku. He watches anime, reads manga, plays videogames, and collects related memorabilia, such as figurines, plush, and posters.

4. Taeyang collects vinyl records of jazz, ragtime, swing, and blues music. His favorites are Jelly Roll Morton, Leadbelly, and Bessie Smith.

5. He’s one of the most competitive people you’ll ever meet. In spite of this, he’s horrible at most games and activities.
