Random Facts:
1. Diego claims he’s only able to exercise such patience with Oreste because he has three younger brothers. Bartolo, his brother who will enter the academy as a freshman following Diego’s graduation, is a big fan of GoGoGlam, so it’s more like he has a mini-Oreste at home. His other brothers, Giotto and Rufino, follow in Diego and their eldest sibling Furio’s example–something he finds just as annoying.
2. His father, Alchimede de Francesco, is an attorney for D.E.A.D. His mother is Tea Messana, whose advanced auramancy is world renowned. Her ability to discern the honesty and morality of her targets led to her gaining the nickname, “Soul Reader.” Diego hasn’t completely mastered this yet, but his elder brother Furio is already a Rank 5 Auromancer who’s being scouted by L.O.R.E. He’s waiting until he’s graduated from uni before taking that leap, though.
3. Diego’s the captain of the High Flyers Club, AOA’s collective of broom riding aficionados. He’s also the leader of the bisexual department for the LGBTQIA+ Alliance, adding leadership and social activism to the skills he brings to the table. His father has been trying to encourage him to pursue a political major when he enrolls in university, and he’s been considering it… But he’s passionate about his streaming career as KidxReject and focused on that outside of his academics. He and Oreste have been planning something big with other occult creators, and he hopes Max won’t decline their invitation.
4. Trying to date as an auramancer can be a blessing and a curse; on the one hand, Diego can pretty much ignore those with bad vibes, thereby saving him time and heartache. On the other hand, it gets really lonely when you consider that most adolescents have at least one toxic trait they have yet to grow out of.
5. His familiar is Felicia, a gorgeous Eurasian eagle-owl who got in trouble for trying to eat Oreste’s dormouse familiar, Archie. In her defense, Oreste only realized Archie was his familiar that very moment.
