By Yes, I am–miraculously–still alive.
The last few months have been the most grueling, uninspiring, and stressful of the past couple of years. There was a lot of personal drama going on, but one of the biggest hurdles I had to face was writing a commission that didn’t fit the requested word count.
I know, right? Sounds like an easy fix: just give an intro, get to the nitty gritty, and drag it out until you reach the conclusion. That’s… Just really crappy, though. I hate the idea of writing something just to get it over and done with. It feels like I’m not putting my spirit into my writing that way, so I do my best to avoid that… And because I didn’t want to submit a poorly written story to a client, I put everything on hold until I could finish it. No other commissions, no blogs or articles beyond what I had already scheduled…
Three months (yeesh) and a LOT of mental health issues later, I managed to complete my commission and move on to my personal projects. That brings us to today when I share with you my blog schedule for August 2022. I’ve made some changes, which I will explain following the graphic.

- There will only be 1 group biography per month.
- Birthday biographies for TCOLD characters will be posted on their applicable dates.
Some key differences are listed above, but I’ll summarize them for you. Since I’m easing back in while starting a new IRL job, I won’t be posting blogs on the weekends anymore. This doesn’t mean that the blogs I used to post on the weekends are canceled; they’ll just be moved to a different day. Lizzie’s Diary, which used to go up on Sundays, will now go up on Thursdays. It’ll share that day with Monty’s Memories on a couple occasions in the future when it catches up to where I need it to be before switching to Monty’s perspective.
Weird chapters and biographies remain as they were, while TCOLD group biographies are making a comeback! However, I’ll only be posting one group bio each month, on the first Tuesday of the calendar. Scarlett Moon is still on hiatus, but when it resumes, it will go up on Fridays. As for the other prospective stories I wish to write, I’m putting them all on the back burner until I get everything settled with my current blogs.
What about The Arcane Citizen?
For now, TAC is on hold until I can resume a comfortable balance between work, life, and blogs. I hope to bring it back in September, but whenever it resumes, it will also be subject to changes. For one, Helena will be posting two blogs a week; for another, Aerwyna’s weekly tarot will expand to include multiple subjects, allowing her to divine different aspects of your life, and on certain special occasions she’ll post an extra article. None of the articles will be posted on weekends, meaning that some days will see multiple uploads. If you were wondering why the schedule above shows times, that’s why–this schedule originally had TAC articles included, but due to time constraints and work obligations I had to postpone TAC’s return.
I’m proud to say that I’m nearly done with August. The TCOLD group biography and Weird chapters and biographies are done and scheduled. I’m working on LD now, and birthday biographies will start on the 10th, so keep an eye out!
