She stared at the ottoman that tripled as storage and a coffee table. She stared at the maroon upholstery on the fluffy sectional couch she laid on.
She laid there and stared at nothing in particular as the air conditioning kicked on. She stared as he typed away on his keyboard, the soft click-clacks interrupting the playful shrieks of children in the pool below. She stared and stared, her chest rising and falling slowly, and she breated a sigh of contentment.
