Sorry, feeling goofy with the title.

Hello, and welcome back to my blog! Didn’t mean to go AWOL for so long. Or at all, to be frank. Then again, I guess no one plans to stop indulging their hobbies.

I’m going to spare you of two things: the details of my personal life over the past year and a half, and a promise of a regular content schedule. I’m trying to take a different approach to my writing, and I’ve never been the kind of person who responded well to obligations, be they self-imposed or otherwise. I will do my best to post regularly on some platform, be it a daily writing prompt on here, randoms thoughts or reposts on socials, or a commission on my Patreon.

There is one goal I am hoping to reach this year, and that is to finish writing my second book. It’s been over three and a half years since Aquarius was published, and I would be lying if I said I didn’t feel shame that it’s taken this long. I’ve also stopped updating my stories on Dreame, as that platform overcharges readers and under pays writers. I only bring this up because I’ve been doing my best to reformat one of those stories into a novel, so my spare time has been spent between that and trying to finish Taurus. Updates will go on Patreon a week in advance, so keep a look out!

That was back when I was posting an early draft of Aquarius online for free, when I had hopes that I could gain enough support to hire an artist and turn it into a weekly comic. Unfortunately, that didn’t pan out, but I gave Aquarius a makeover and published it on Amazon. My views haven’t changed—I would still rather gain fans than a quick buck, which is why my book is priced lower than most novels of that size/genre, as well as available for free is you have Kindle Unlimited!

That should do it for the update! Sorry that it took so long to properly announce my return. I initially began writing this post back in August, but it didn’t feel as if I had all of my thoughts settled. Waiting turned out to be a good move, because I hadn’t opened my store or Patreon at that time. Now that I’ve got a few more commissions under my belt, I’m eager to handle more and put out content again.
