1. A Chain Reaction

Can you remember

The wide base of the mountain

From its tallest peak?

2. Left To Its Own Devices

From its tallest peak

One can see the horizon

But not the mountain

3. Can Be Disastrous

But not the mountain

No matter how hard you wish

You can't erase it

Yup, back with another bout of haiku! You’ll notice there are only three this time, and that the third line of one poem is the first line of the next. Honestly, the contest I had entered had me researching different haiku styles, and I thought a little haiku chain would be fun! And just like with the haibun from yesterday, reading all the haiku in this chain will reveal a secret fourth poem!
